A little piece I did for fun out of nostalgia. I haven't been shooting any video for quite some time and the other week I felt like going to the beach and taking some shots. I headed towards Pacifica in California around 4 PM and stayed a couple of hours until the sun set.
Nothing was planned and everything is shot handheld. The stabilized shots came out alright for the most part, however I think it's high time that I invest in a good pair of legs and fluid head.
Shot on a Canon 5D Mark II with the Cinestyle picture style and ML unified (although not the latest with HDR, this would have been useful in a few of the shots). Lenses are Canon 85mm 1.8 and Sigma 20mm 1.8. It seems to me that this camera holds up very well at such a high ISO as long as there is some light hitting the sensor.
Edited in FCPX and graded and stabilized in Nuke.
I will be adding a link to a side-by-side video of the original edited shots next to the final graded and stabilized shots for anyone who is interested.
