GS: The Lost Age Part 127 (Gondowan Settlement)

This is Part 127 in my walkthrough of Golden Sun: The Lost Age. Since this game enables you to save at any time, my videos will be 10mins each until my next save point.

--OH MY GOD. Never in my Golden Sun playthroughs have I EVER had such a hard time making an Excalibur!
Holy crap, I counted, and it took me 162 tries before I got the Excalibur forged. 5% chance? HAH it seemed more like .5% D:

I got so sick and tired of re-recording/deleting video recording, that I completely stopped until I actually got the Excalibur. I was completely unexpecting it when I got it and I only managed to record the message of me getting the Excalibur lol.

Excalibur is a complete $*&@^ to get but it's completely worth retrying and trying again till you get it. A good couple hours wasted of my life but I finally got it xDD. Seriously I usually get Sunshine to make it after 20 tries at most, but this time around...sheesh.

Now it's time to head for Magma Rock. But first, a small stop to Gondowan Settlement. You can bet I'll be using those Golden Medals after I finish Magma Rock.

i got my excalibur on my about 7th try and on the first attack i gave a 1053 to a dire wolf. talking about lucky... o yeah i was lvl 32=)

Actually you get a couple throughout the game. Also, they're randomly dropped by Sky Dragon in Anemos Inner Sanctum. Try using a Wind djinn to increase the chances of getting it.

well yeah but my question is what item did you process? cuz i think i already processed it and saved and i didn't get the item D: so yeah i don't think i can get excalibur anymore :/

Quite literally just try, try and try again.

Always save before giving the materials to sunshine and just keep resetting till you get it.

There's a video on youtube somewhere that shows how you can manipulate RNG in order to get the item almost 100% of the time. It works for non-emulator users though.
