The Zamora were a Brighton band of the early 2000's who took their name from then-rising sharp shooter Bobby Zamora. 'Harry J (Gunslinger)' was one of their most popular tracks, and an allusion to US prohibitionist Harry J. Anslinger.

The song references circuses, floods and travelling medicine shows to evoke a bygone era, with a Sonic Youth-esque musical backing. This video is a mash-up of the song with some films clips taken from the BFI archive.

The Zamora were Dominic Pates, Justin Chamberlin, Steve Raffe, Merlin Robertson and Dr Peter Newell. Original 'earplugs' design by Rhys Ganderton.

'Lights and Shades on the Bostock Circus Farm', 'Our New Errand Boy', 'Fundamentalism v Evolution' and 'The Haunted Curiosity Shop' courtesy of the British Film Institute (BFI) under the terms of the Creative Archive Licence at http://www.bfi.org.uk/creative.
