I lived in that apartment complex at the beginning of the video. Luckily I was out of state visiting family and my building wasn't destroyed, but the one about 50 feet behind me lost it's 2nd floor (my apartment was also on the 2nd floor.) It was very surreal indeed.

I was there on vacation I was right on the beach watching everything moving in and it was so scary for me cause I hate storms like this. I was right on the beach, after we heard of what happen we checkout thingsand came aross the plane. I am just so glad that this missed the resort I was at. what a vacation. we took newspapers from that day and I still have those right now, newspaper: Twistmas 2006

Um maybe some higher power was making is voice known......I used to be a indepenent instructor at kdab when this happend was really amazing how it basicly landed on the riddle campus, and while it was going on a crj landed on 7L and had no prior warning that there was a tornado on the field

yeah and cost went up for us in Prescott also... that's partially why I'm not there anymore! aside from the dicking around and Riddle runaround that the University is famous for.

Wow, that was messed up...

I both trained and instructed at Riddle, but left for the airlines before this happened. I probably flew 80% of those aircraft at some point. I had also been in just about every room of Spruance hall... Classes, Fraternity meetings, waiting in line at financial aid... hah! I haven't been back to the school since it happened, but I wish them all the best. I bet it's a much better school now that Pres. Ebbs is gone!
