@hrhlyonene This looks like anytime after '98. She is now a floating museum about 200 yards south of the USS ARIZONA. I reported a little after the shake down cruise. I would've loved to have been on there then. Your ex is a lucky man. Sorry about the ex part.

@sixx3times when was this sixx? My ex-husband served on the Missouri in the late 80's and was on the Around the world shake down cruise.

@markandrewtan I t would be safer to swim to Hawaii then visit Camden, it's a hell hole.

I was on her in desert storm too i was in 3rd deck division

There where I use to stand while entering and or leaving port..... atop turret 2 with the Missouri Marines for colorguard detail. At least I got out the linehandling deal and mess up my uniforms. (at 1:42).

I definetly need to see her again as a museum ship. I was a crew member on her during desert storm in ordnance department.
Thanks for sharing this, those cannons look awesome from that point of view. I've gotta go there once.

Have fun sir. If you are on the East Coast, it may be easier for you to visit the USS New Jersey, BB62. She's now a floating museum on the Delaware River across from Philadelphia (in Camden, NJ).

@SQUIRALBOY43 if I recall right, the designers added 6 inches to make the New Jersey "the largest battleship". It was created in the Camden shipyards and most of the workers were Philly and NJ residents, hence the motivation.
