@ImmaDeker It seems like you like short series better. The reason why the Big 3 Shonen get knocked so much is because the author of the manga needs time to publish new storylines, and the animes need to keep producing episodes, thus filler. I guess I have a personal outlook on it, because I write manga, its a part of my life. Kubo, Kishimoto, and Eiichiro have been influences on my life, and I have a lot of respect for the things that they do.

@ImmaDeker I've watched all of those, and the only ones that are kind of decent are the Justice League series and Teen Titans.

But regardless, I think if you took a poll around the world: Who has better animation? Japan or the US? I'd bet the general census would be Japan. Sorry for saying "fact", I guess I never meant it literally, but I'll take responsibility for it.

@ImmaIchigoKurosaki But you did. It's "fact" that anime is better, but I'm wrong for disliking the Big three.

And I like a lot of Japanese animation. I'm a huge fan of Yu-Gi-Oh!, and I love quite a few other shows (The Big O, Cyborg 009, FLCL, Panty and Stocking, Cowboy Bebop). But one nation isn't inherently superior over the other.

Your just a troll who obviously has an agenda of some capacity against Japanese animation appraisal. And I mean just for the sake of trolling because there is a large following who appreciates the manga/anime art form.

I'll pass. I'm not going to argue with someone who can't at least appreciate the Big 3 Shonen. You can hate it with a burning passion, but give respect where respect is due

Superhero comics have continuity, but they're not linear stories with tangible ends. They're pulp magazines with iconic modern myth. If you've actually read comics, you'd also know that there is a WEALTH of material that is written that only requires the "general basis". All Star Superman, for example.

There have been plenty of great superhero cartoons. You just don't actually watch the stuff but call it bad anyway.

@ImmaDeker We can understand the general basis, but their canon material is freaking ridiculous. Getting early issues is freaking expensive and scarce, when I can buy Volume 1 of a manga online for like 5 bucks.

No one has ever done a cliche superhero show any justice because they don't know where to begin. They know the general plotline, and how they got their powers, and their allies and enemies, but they don't have a timeline to go by.
