Welsh Cobs Eventing

My sister and brother riding their Welsh Cobs at the Fork Horse Trials this spring (2010). Misty (chestnut) is a Section D Welsh Cob mare, and Patriot (dark bay) is a Welsh Cob/Thoroughbred gelding.

Note: Be sure to go to the bottom of the video, on the right hand side and click the little arrow to view in 720p or 1080p (HD). I'm not sure why but my computer is automatically playing it in 360p which makes the quality look horrible.

This was my first time shooting something moving (horses) with my new camera...looking back I might've employed a monopod when the horses were closer (I was using a video tripod), but it's no big deal. I'm not entirely happy with the job I did filming, but I am sure I will improve in the future. :)

@horses4lifelol The dark bay is a Thoroughbred/Welsh Cob cross (mother was a TB, father was a cob). The chestnut is a purebred Welsh Cob. :)

It plays better for me in 360p rather than the HD you suggest.

I thought you had used the monopod? ya can try it next time (At Championships?)

@welshcobsnc It does play better in 360p, but the quality looks terrible and I am upset that Youtube even makes it an option (as a photographer I am extremely picky about quality. :)

I used the tripod for this one - I forgot the monopod in the car that day. When are championships??

@ZoutubeA09 I used a Sony HX1 still camera. It is a good little camera - a little lacking on audio but the HD & color are fairly good. Your English is very good!

how tall is misty and patriot? and how tall are the rider i'm 5.6 and i am getting a horse that should be 15.3 fully grlwn will i be the right height to ride him and is his tall enough for me??? thanks xx my horse is a welsh x cob with a bit of Hanoverian in him btw?
