Well, you're talking to someone with about 500,000 frequent flyer miles and I can tell you that it's a GREAT guitar to own. I've A/B'd three of them so far and have nothing but good to say!

This is a great idea and the guys seem really cool, but why would I want a folding guitar? Unless you travel a lot with it, if that was my case, I'd have a roadie I guess. a
And sustain? Cool novelty though.

It doesn't hurt at all. Try one, then have someone play it for you with your back turned or your eyes closed. It's not rocket science. It is physics and based on results there is no "hurting" of tone. They are great guitars. Do you think Paul McCartney, Brad Paisley, Steve Miller, Patrick Simmons would use them if there was a possiblilty of the tone being compromised?? Don't think so. Try one.

I will see if I can find the hinge mechanics on the site. I've had this idea for years but couldn't figger out how to do the fret at the joint. Fret adjustment is miniscule and critical. Nikos in Maine

That seems neat, but I am wary of any guitar with a freakin' break right on the neck. Sounds pretty damn good though.
It took us this long to invent something like that?
