that's an incredibly mild example of wrong. How about Church torturing and killing people for centuries for owning or reading a Bible. They lusted for power and got involved in politics for centuries which Jesus said his kingdom is no part of world. Or mass child molesting. there's tons worse that forgiving a murderer. but i think song is true. going to church doesn't mean u're saved. says so in the Bible too.
