Masten Space VTVL rocket vehicle lifting off from one pad, hovering for 90 seconds and landing on a second pad 60 meters away, at the Mojave Spaceport in Mojave, CA. This is flight one for the Northrup Grumman Lunar Lander Challenge.

  • do you use boost pumps or just the pressure from the tanks?

  • @soverato3 It's purely pressure fed.

  • that's honestly amazing, very difficult. Was it gyro stabilized?

  • @Gromitdog1 No gryo, differential GPS and gimbaling main engine.  It turns out it's much easier to gimbal one main engine rather than throttling multiple engines for same effect.

  • what kind of fuel does it use? some mix of hydrogen peroxide?!

  • @Fourteen88SoCal Liquid Oxygen and Isopropyl Alcohol.

  • interesante el video, me gustaria dieran informe en español referente al sistema de propulsion asi cmo: tipo de combustible, precion,fuerza de empuje,peso del cohete,temperatura, velocidad inicial, velocidad de aceleracion.
