@idks98032 Let's take a look at that shall we. Warhammer 40,000 has in excess of over one hundred novels, has MULTIPLE games not even including the older ones, AND in-universe it is thousands of years old, not including the Eldar and the Old Ones. How about you do some fucking research before making dumbass claims like Halo even comes CLOSE to 40k in its franchise size OR scale.

@idks98032 Halo has bigger back story? Warhammer 40k had lore being made since the 80's up until now, plus without Warhammer 40k's inspiration, Halo, and even Starcraft wouldnt have existed...

@ZHBraden13 spartans are in a way based off of space marines as the creator said himself " Master Chief is a really cool character in a green space marine suit" But they dont look anything alike just the concept of being superior and badass.

@Del249 well thats ur opinion, there are over a billion people who would disagree. I know that Warhammer is an awesome game and i play it too, but people are being fanatical when they compare the two. 1. Warhammer is a RTS where as halo is an FPS. And Halo has more popularity and players, its a fact but that doesnt mean its better. People have different tastes so stop comparing em.

@munguntulga I played Halo. it sucked. decent gameplay (decent, nothing breathtaking) until about the half of the game when the flood arrived. it became incredibly stereotypical and boring after that.

the conavant never asked humanity to join them, read up on your lore before you post comments about lore.
also Humanity is Xenophobic in the 40k world and with good reason, ou would fear and hate anything other than a human if the entire universe is trying to kill your entire race off, Aliens, Demons, Traitors, all are trying to kill the species off, and after 10,000 years of war, it would be quite commonplace to think of the tau as nothing more than wolves in sheeps clothing.
