Perhaps if you checked your cynicism at the door - you might give this president the chance to be the next Kennedy.
And don't tell me that Obama would have surrendered to Kruschev.
Because if Kennedy lived in our political day and age, the GOP would have lambasted him for even TALKING to Krushev. Nothing short of dropping A-bombs all over Moscow would have sated the militant Right's blood lust.
