  • I would wait until most of the pain has gone away, then as your doing the stretches, you want to make sure you are contracting (flexing) the muscles of the sprained leg as you stretch and you should be fine. Good Luck!

  • yes, exactly.

  • Can't thank you enough for this tutorial....there are many videos on youtube which talk about hamstrings...yet yours stands out because of the way you explain the nuances in each of the asanas....I am looking forward to doing these at the gym tomorrow .... I am sure there will be more than a few curious eyes....!!

Do you have a yoga video or book (assuming that you teach the same way in video in that you do here).?

....if something like that is available for purchase online please let me know..

  • Your welcome! So glad this was helpful...Don't have a video yet, but will keep you posted!!! Jan

  • what if you got a spraine leg and trying to do this at home ?

  • i love you...

  • These were great tips. Looking to relieve my lower back pain from running. I didn't stretch much before and now I'm paying for it.

  • That was a really great tututoria. thanks. Just one quick question, why do you say to keep a "micro bend in the knee" during the last stretch? Is that to prevent hyperextending the knee back?

  • your really pretty.

  • Great vid i'll start doing this and hopefully my hamstrings will get better

  • thanks..
