This booing the US anthem thing is way overplayed. Yes they have done it occassionally (playoffs, Boston), but, unless CBC and TSN have special filters to eliminate booing from their broadcasts, they clearly aren't doing it for 90% of the games they play against US teams. Having said that, I was at the Habs Devils game in NJ last week. I can tell you honestly that O Canada was sung with much greater energy by the crowd than the Star Spangled Banner. The Americans simply didn't sing along.

So you're only a Flyers fan because you don't speak French? That's kind of a dumb reason to be a fan of a team, but hey, whatever floats your boat.

This is the greatest intro in the National Hockey League, O Canada in French, the wonderful star spangled banner on the ice, and the great passion by all the fans. The funny thing is, I'm a Bruins fan. Rivals will be rivals and the only thing that we have to pull out of this is that the rivalry between, in my opinion the #2 and #3 greatest franchises(behind Detroit), is that when the B's and the Habs get together, it's always a great hockey game.

Montreal has the Best Crowd and im not saying it because im a Habs fan but its realityy ....... Go Habsss!!!!!

An independent poll by NHLers rated Montreal the best atmosphere in the NHL. It's visiting teams favorite place to play outside of their home rink.
Boston's Tim Thomas says Montreal is the best arena to play hockey in. He loves playing there. "Hockey that matters."
