@HHS81 I just discovered that the framerate problem was due to the animated jetways that were enabled, and not to the rendering.

@AVIACIONEXPRES read my reply to HHS81

@fgot666 the pole surface is perpendicular to the light because, for performance reasons, I put only one light source in the center instead of 8 arranged in a circle. I presume model designer would like to experiment with other light arrangement

@fgfred64: Cool- that sounds very, very promising!
Thanks for your hard work!

looks amazing...
only the light poles seem not to be effected by the shader

@HHS81 the whole thing needs to be optimized. For example, the shadow map shouldn't be computed at night (with front face culling, it is even more expensive to render during the night). The lights are just cones rendered with a shader, and shouldn't be so expensive as such, as long as we don't want shadows for them
@fgfred64: Which screenrecorder are you using and how much perfomance it needs?
I guess that can be another cause of the low framerates. And KSFO is generally a place where framerates are not that high, even without mp.
It looks really promising- thanks again for your stunning work and pushing FGFS further.

cool but in the dusk the frame rate is very low although the effects off

@AVIACIONEXPRES it appears that the framerate problem in the video was due to the animated jetways and is not related to rendering
