Angie Stone started her career right at the right time, What i mean by the right time, Angie came out during that time when veteran artists like Betty Right, Miki Howard, Regina Belle, Vesta Williams had all sorta left the music scene. So Angie Stone was all we had left, And her song Black Brotha made me feel good.

well, I know one damn thing...if she ever bumped into me, she wouldnt have a problem with this brutha right here knowing the lyrics. I can wake up out of a cold ass sleep and start spittin' the lyrics to that song. Im as gay as Spring Time and that song is as important to me as it may be to the straight, black, family man with a wife and 3 kids. Love this chick. And she's soooo right...we need to STOP hatin' on each other. We get enuf of that shit from folks who dont look like us.
