the phone itself is very very basic with basic phone features (compaired to some of the phones out now like the android phones or palm pre). What makes the iphone "good" are the 85000 apps that make the phone more interesting. Without the apps, its just a sexy looking cell phone with standard features. did i mention it's also sexy, because being sexy sells alot of units.

i have i phone its not as slow as yours. mines pretty damn fast. loads website in about 1-2 seconds or less.

Yeah, I always hated this 'sequence shortened'...

The performance is nowhere near what's in the commercial. In fact, sometime I have to give up watching a YouTube vide because they just don't download (even across my home network).

But it's still a very cool device...just slow.

i think the whole twice as fast is in reference to the difference between 3g and edge. who knows, if you have a gripe, take it up with apple.
