This is the actual doll, LITTLE MISS NO NAME, that I got for Christmas when I was about 4 yrs. old. What was my mother thinking??!? All you need to do is look at those BIG saucer eyes and any child would need years of therapy.
I kept her hidden away in a box for years until I made this video......and then put her back in the box, and locked it.

  • I have a Little Miss No Name. I hope you realized before you messed with her, she's worth over $125.00. lol But the video is really cute. Love the music to the video too.

  • @MelStar111 Thanks Mellie! No I didn't mess with her. It's make-up that was easily washed off with soap & water. I carry a price guide book on collectibles so I knew old dolls, even plastic 60-70's dolls go for good prices. She is well kept in a sealed bag. You own a No-Name too, do you have the adoption papers that originally went with the doll? Sadly I lost mine. Wish I kept the box as well.

Remember Kiddles, Dawn Dolls, and Flatsies?

  • I had this doll when I was a kid...I got her for Christmas one year. My mom said I looked just like her, guess mom didn't consider me the pretty one.

  • emeralddave3737, I got the doll for X-mas too. Many years ago.

The story: My mother said when I saw the commercial on TV advertising the doll, I wanted it. "Little Miss No Name" was an orphan that came with adoption papers. I felt sorry for it. When I got it, I thought it was so ugly and creepy, I threw it across the room. (So my mother tells it.) But I kept it all these years, never thought I'd use it in a video someday. HA HA!!

  • did you make the dolls? who did the music? this is cool.

  • This doll is really named "Little Miss No Name", she was a doll I had as a child. The TV commercial that advertised her said she was an orphan and needed a new home. I begged to get it for Christmas. Mom says when I opened the box, I took one look at her weird face and tossed her away. HA HA!! I never realized that so many years later she would come in handy, she really is quite frightening! The music is "Rosemary's Baby Theme" by Fantomas.

  • awesome video you've made!

  • I had this doll too, I asked for her for Christmas. I never thought she was creepy, just in need of someone to take care of her, I did the best I could.....

  • I, also, begged my mother for a Little Miss No Name doll for Christmas. I can still remember the commercial with her standing in the snow, looking through a window at a warm, cheery Christmas celebration. Once I got her and realized that I could never make her happy, I stowed her away. I still have her and she comes out at Halloween.

  • I don't find Little Miss No Name creepy... sorry. I think it's sad when people mistreat dolls - yes, it's "just a doll" but if you can't/won't appreciate something, why not let someone else have it? Cool concept but I would've enjoyed it more if you'd used a doll that was actually creepy.

  • i too had a little miss no name as a child. she made me a lot less pretentious as the other girls who got the malibu barbie...i still have her. i think a lot about what statements this doll is actually making and i have realized....if i had gotten a barbie? i would be just as self centered as the rest of the girls from my era. i can only say, to your comment-What was my mom thinking? SHE MADE YOU THE ARTIST YOU HAVE BECOME. ty little miss no name and mom

  • frikkin creepy....

I never had a doll like this(I grew up in the 90's), but when I was little my mom kept buying me porcelain dolls.

I hated being in my room cuz I thought they were staring at me

  • If you have to fight off a kitchen knife-wielding doll with a katana...

  • OMG! I love this!!! Make more like this!!!

P.S I added this to my favorits! :)
