Cars designed by Peter Monteverdi, the son of an Italian immigrant, helped define the profile of the Swiss automobile industry. Today, sports cars and limousines that left the factory in Binningen near Basel up until 1982 are stored in a museum where they are jealously guarded as former employee Paul Berger explained.
