  • hey what is the performance of sasha's called??

and who is the skater at 0:33

  • Sasha is shown doing her "Romeo and Juliet" program and the skater at 0:33 is Kimmie Meissner.

  • in 1:58 why was the woman crying?

  • It's Dorota Siudek (of the Polish pairs team Siudek/Siudek), and she's crying because her and her partner Mariusz had to withdraw from Worlds last year after a nagging back injury of his only got worse during the warm up for the long program.

  • Can you give me an example where S&P said anything bad about the Russians? S&P were nothing but classy in their reactions.

  • Are you being obtuse?

For decades, former Soviet bloc, French and Italian judges cheated against the weak Canadians, Israelis and others federations; deciding who would win before they even skated.

In the Sale & Pelletier case, the lead American referee caught the cheating, reported it, and demanded the double gold and he wouldn't shut up.

The IOC publicly ordered Figure Skating to stop cheating and change its scoring system or be kicked out of the Olympics.

    That is the truth.

  • thanx for the laughs..

  • so why didn't the Lithuanians got what they deserved, huh? i'm just saying their case isn't sad, Drobiazko/Vanagas's is, because they were robbed as well (twice in one season), but nobody gave a crap coz Lithuania is small and has no great history in FS. Just saying the team would probably have won many medals more if represented Russia where Margarita was from.

  • Canadian firgure skating... not wealthy... not even remotely by comparison to most other countries.

  • Oops 1:25 sorry!

  • 1:30! OUCH! I forgot her name, but her partner almost quit.

  • @Haley452 They got what they rightly deserved because the judges finally got caught cheating.

  • @basha417 What did you see in that skate that did not deserve a gold? It was crystal.

  • Sale Pelletier did not deserve a gold medal. They skated the program we all saw dozens of times, nothing new or challenging about that. They disgraced figure skating by accepting another gold medal in a token gesture.

  • at least they got what they wanted because they were Canadian and their federation was strong and wealthy. and at the same time, Drobiazko/Vanagas were placed fifth in ice dancing while deserved bronze at least, but noone cared, coz they were "only" Lithuanians. and then a month later same happened at worlds and their protest went unnoticed again. So yeah, what happened to S/P in Salt Lake wasn't sad for me, it was riddiculous. Silver wasn't enough, huh? some people didn't even get that much.
