@TheSuckatash Yes, but I did that step after the frets were installed and beveled. These two videos pick up after that was done. IMO, it's a crucial step.

Sully mate, get yourself some diamond crown files ! i swapped over to them a few months back and it will save you so much time. They leave only fine scratches and you can crown the whole fretboard in 10 min
yeah they cost a bit, but are so worth it

Hey sully, another question, hope you answer it! Can I do the crowning with a normal file, or do I really need the round crowning file thing? Cause I don't know where to get it! :/

@diegobo135 Google "fret crowning file" and you'll find it! :) Truth is, you could probably use many things, but I'd recommend the proper tools. You wouldn't just build a house with just a screwdriver, right? :)
