Hi,
This is absolutely positively not Genesis. I know the "drummer" in this video personally. Some guys from Montreal did this for fun, and synched it to Genesis music. The guy himself once got it in a trade labeled "Genesis Sherbrooke 1973" or something like that. It has been circulating for many years but it is not Genesis. I am 100 percent certain.

I know for sure this is a fake. I am friends with the drummer. This was a lip sync by some Canadian guys. It has been circulating for years--I got it at least 10 years ago, probably more. But it is absolutely 100 percent not Genesis on the video--the sound is from a Genesis show.

Adding to he below post: It was like having the guys play in your living room because it was a small auditorium. Banks had an M3 (just like mine!!!) and was playing through two Leslie 122s. Selling England had just made it to the record stores a few months earlier. I stole my dad's car and drove 6 of us to the show, and then got lost in Chicago's South Side looking for gas on a Sunday night during the gas embargo. - oh yeah - and while most of us were teenagers, there was a 9-yr too. Sheesh!

Adding to the confusion ... I was at the Chicago Northwestern University show in 1973. Hard to tell anything with this video, but here are my thoughts:
* Hackett and Banks are in the correct position on stage
* Hackett and Banks sat together at Hackett's position when they did 12-string together
* There were 3 rear-screen projectors.
* Gabriel's "Bat Hat" is not correct
* There were no "flower head" costumes
* This was not shot at the concert I attended
There were less than 200 in the theater.
