  • Props

  • definitly: best alternate picking: steve morse

  • 32 people cut their fingers off after watching this

  • Best feel - Jeff Beck??? WTF. I'd preferred to find SRV for that. Or Django Reinhardt. Best Rock Guitar Composer - Jimmy Page. Best Guitarist - Joe Pass. Anyway, all this of "the bests" is subjectivity and points of view. Great exposition of Guthrie Govan. Art is expression, not a sport.

  • I found the BB -> Gilmour -> Knopfler genuinely powerful, like, moving.

  • Guthrie Govan mimics the greats but......can the greats mimic Guthrie Govan? that is the question.

  • It's amazing how Guthrie can capture the essence of all these famous players yet retain so much of his own style and musicality. An incredible performance!!!

  • @calshafer2 wow thanks for the heads up that was incredible!

  • @rbrs300 Guthrie does a cover of "Get You Back" here on youtube. It's just audio though, but he did the whole piece in its entirety. Just type in guthrie govan get you back. The video has just under 20,000 views. /watch?v=qJfDPXFUxNQ
