Do you drive a Mustang?
Do they enforce the speed limits in France?

@michael112254 I drove a Shelby GT500 Cobra last summer in the US, but I don't personally own one. They do enforce the speed limits in France, mostly using fixed speed cameras that are indicated 400 meters ahead, but sometimes you'll see police hidden behind a bridge.

@wipandco Thank you for your answer. Did you enjoy driving in the US? What are the similarities and differences between driving in the US and France? Do you ever drive outside of France? For example, the quality of the roads and drivers?
Where in the US did you drive?
michael112254 11 months ago
@michael112254 Driving in the US is easier than in France: larger roads, wider lanes, less traffic jam, almost no toll, cheaper gas, no speed cameras... but the pavement is in better shape in France. I drove in Northern and Southern Cali, but mostly in the Bay area. I drove in Belgium and in the NL where ppl know how to drive unlike in the Paris area.

@michael112254 In the US, it's easy to drive at the speed you want because there are so many lanes. In France, most freeways are only 2-lane: one for slow drivers, under the speed limit, and one for driving way above the speed limit if you don't want someone tailgating you. You can't just drive always at the speed limit and stay in the same lane. France has a good railroad system but roads were built too small and always get congested. I didn't feel that in California (except for LA traffic).

@wipandco Which city has the worst drivers and traffic conditions, LA or Paris? What is your overall opinion of the drivers in California?
michael112254 11 months ago
@michael112254 I can't say about LA drivers because I drove down there only to see some friends in Santa Monica and in the OC. I encountered a few angry/fast drivers, tho. Guess sometimes you gottta make up for all the stress from being stuck in traffic. We got a lot of traffic in Paris, too (except between 2 and 3pm), so it's kind of the same.
