i think a combo of both would be great - i love a good video because then i get an overview of what im making, plus most people learn best orally - but if its a complicated project maybe upload some links to a blog where you've posted step by step break down too for where people get stuck on a step? good luck :)x
I think written steps would be easier to follow but then again actually seeing something can make those steps make a lot more sense. Perhaps you can do blogs about the simpler crafts and then when it is something more complicated do a video to go with the blog. You can pst all the videos in your blog as well so everything is together.

I think you should incorporate both. Do it in vlog form, but then put links to some step by step pictures in the down bar :)
