January 2009

It's the dress rehearsal for Obama's inauguration parade. Over 70 music acts are going to be playing and Howard Universitys Showtime Marching Band have been practicing day and night for the big day.

Howard University is known for educating the African American elite and training the first black American politicians. When Obama received an honorary doctorate from the university in 2007, he proudly stated: it is because of these victories that a black mancan stand before you today as a candidate to be the President of the United States. Now everyone is hoping that the new presidency will bring the change that Obamas motto promised. Well I hope he can make changes because theres a lot of people that need jobs, people are living on the streetthings need to change, for the better. In such a difficult economic climate and with such huge expectations, the new President will be under enormous pressure. But right now, nobody wants to think about that, its simply time to celebrate.

  • Why doesn't anyone ever talk about Obama's caucasian heritage as well? His mother was white so that makes him half white and half black so everyone should look at both aspects of his heritage.

  • If the news say cow is a dog does that mean it's true? He's genetically as white as he is black, and more white than black if you take into account his upbringing (raised by his white grandparents). Popular opinion does not change ones dna.

  • Obama Help me find a Job.

  • Obama is very passionate about being President of the United States unfortunately he has took the job at the worst time EVER thanks to previous admin. looting the soul of our nation for selfish reasons on behalf of themselves and those that aren't happy with an existing middle class. As for the race issue, I believe that if everyone wore a shell to hide their ancestry Obama would still have been elected but on the flip-side I would have to say the prisions would still be majority black men.

  • Get over it harapekodayonee! Black men are and always will be smarter, stronger and sexier than white men! This is why people like you are so threatend and afraid of black men, and you know this is a fact!

  • this video was made by julieta rudich for "Weltjournal",austrian television ORF

  • i think we add too much goodness to mr.obama...

he is definitely better then bush but as far as i see his soldier still fight in afganistan, nothing of pragmatic has been really done about global warming and unemployment in america is higher then before... so...

  • still a nigger is a nigger

  • everyone should just forget the colour issue full stop!when my ancestors went to america we were treated ten times worse than african american slaves,we were thrown into the marshes to dig like animals, the irish were worthless...the black slaves had a value!NINA--No Irish Need Apply was posted everywhere and within 100 years of arriving en masse to the US we had an Irish American president...John Fitzgerald Kennedy! Its not about colour..its about intellect and lots of bloody hard work!Go Obama!

  • What's so amusing about your name calling is...that evidently just because someone shares an opinion based on facts...you automatically label them a bigot because you disagree with them. You have no idea who Michael Steele is and what he stands for, and yet you want to call him a bigot....well, look in the mirror and YOU shall see the bigot.
