As much as I like the Iowa Class, I have to give it up to the Yamato for having the best looking profile of all time.

So... this is just advertisement?

@hamace He could've used a smaller electric motor bolted down with rubber washers and using a pair of 'C' or 'D' cells (to lower the draught some) with probably the actual scale propellor. As it is now it's going a bit fast (to scale).
It is a very Nicely done kit and the motor system is fairly easy to replace. (I used to love doing this to my ship kits!)

just wait tell the bismarck comes along if the americans had it

Are it's main gun turrets turned electrically, or have you just moved them by hand? ;)
If this sinks, will the engines and stuff be useless? or is it waterproof..

I really hate to be a critic ,but something has to be done to quiet the elec motor. It really cheapens the whole thing....Great model, great job

fine if it was a film about the Yamato or whatewer, but this is a video showing how a model works, so the noise is too an important INFORMATION about it
