If you cant back into this hitch, you probably shouldnt be pulling a trailer of any kind.

Looks like a tiny fifth-wheel/kingpin connecting system for small and medium size vehicles.

That's kinda cool. Although nothing new. That's the same a hitching up a fifth wheel... I like it.

OMG..............

Couldn't people just learn how to back up to a trailer? I pulled a trailer with my Corvette all the time for a year and a half, and don't have a single mark on my bumper to show for it. No spotters, no fancy gimmicks except a lock. People should have no issues backing up to a trailer...if anything they should have issues backing up with the trailer, but that would only be an issue for newbies.

cool idea. But, IMO, if you can't hook up a trailer the regular way you have no business pulling one.
I think this would be great for someone hooking and unhooking different trailers a lot like a construction worker.

It's a start now if they could only figure out a device that would raise the tounge jack as well.
-
Wonder how much it costs... might be cheaper to just put a camera back there. A camera would serve double duty, safety and help lining up for hooking up a trailer.
-
Now all it needs it to hook everything up and raise the arm and you don't need to get out of the truck. this great for those who don't have spotters you can off and still get it to hook up. very nice

@nasonguy just have to be close, basically converting a ball style to a fifth wheel style, the fifth wheel style you basically just kinda get close to centered and back into the trailer

i thought hooking up a regular trailer was easy...
do you remember or know the price of the snap hitch
and would they be able to be used in australia on a normal 50 mm ball

They were selling for approx. $250. Any size ball can be adapted to the hitch. Thanks

Thats cool. One problem I can see is chaseing you trailer everywhere cause you forgot to chock the tires or its a extra light trailer that won't stay put when you back up to it. I still think a good spotter or some practice, a ball or pintle hook is still the best

One should always chock the tires. Good safety practice. No spotter needed. No one to get mad at. Thanks

Still gotta be lined up perfectly though...

Don't have to be lined up perfectly. Thats the whole idea.
