On October 19, 2009, one of my old librarians, and my favorite, died from cancer. This is a dedication to him. Your in my heart always, Bob. Love Andrew Koronios 6th Grader at Dumbarton Middle School
I remember Mr. Hallett from when I was in the 6th grade at Riderwood in 1976. I'm almost postive that was his first year there. It was a long time ago but I remember that he was so friendly and you could tell he loved what he was doing. I remember he was excited that he had one of our new students, who was a small redhaired boy, but a real prodigy, play piano for us in the library. That kid was so good. Mr. Hallett must have given kids so many great memories and experiences for over 30 years.
Its too bad I havent kept caught up with this. I would pay my respects for Mr. Hallett. He was my library in 5th grade back in the 96-97 school years. So far the only Riderwood staff member I got back in touch with is Mr. Allman and I found Mr. Allman on facebook a few months ago. As well as 2 of my former class mates.
This is so horrible, to have such a great man stolen from the community by disease. Thank you GreekBoys for making this video, it means so much to so many people...
I was the one who made this video for Mr. Hallett. I never thought that it would stretch all around to schools like Stonleigh. I go to DMS now, 7 th grade.
I went to Riderwood and Mr Hallett was my old librarian my 5th grade year. Its too bad I didnt hear about this right away. Id pay my respects for Mr Hallett. He was a good librarian in the 96-97 years. I wonder who will take his place?
