@PrettyDamnUnpretty just think you are meant to pity him a bit, he's dying and you want Seymour to save him, even if you hate the character. I think It should leave people thinking "What the hell just happened?" not "thank god he's finally dead". just my opinion.

@matthewgilpincom He's still supposed to be scary... Yeah, he's dying... but the way he's dying is kind of scary in itself, ya know? He's suffocating, but also quite literally laughing in the face of death... if I saw someone do that, it'd scare me a wee bit.

I disagree, personally. I REALLY don't want to be seen as a troll, but I found this hard to watch. don't get me wrong, he had great physicality, I'm sure he did everything that the director told him. I've got nothing against him, but I think that the director took the scene in the wrong direction. this is meant to be the weakness in the final moments of this characters life, but the director made sure that he was in control the whole time. I think he is meant to be pitiful here, not terrifying .
