Demonstration of IMU unit based on 3D accelerometer ADXL345 and 3D gyro ITG3200. Breakout board made by Sparkfun, communication through I2C. Host controller is Atmel ATMega2560, data are sent to PC via USB/TTL converter 200 times per second. PC application is made in Borland Delphi. It converts raw data from sensors and draw diagrams in regular units. No data filtering applied on raw data.

  • What software is running on the PC ? The datalogger? How is the IMU connected to PC, via USB ?

  • @getudayanu Hi, PC application is my own design, only for testing purposes. Its made in Delphi 7. Data from IMU are sent to PC trough USB/TTL converter. Its all raw data from IMU calibrated in real units.

  • HI.. i want to fuse this sort of data with a 3D image.. making a virtual reality... like when the imu moves the picture moves on the screen like reality... i m using ATOMIC 6DOF imu. it will be great if u can be of any help
