This is how I create all of my zombies.
REQUIRES Nightlife or University or some expansion like that lol

there are 2 other ways to get a zombie:
Apartment life: Use the Vivicus zombiae spell on a tombstone
Freetime: Wish for resurection from the genie and if it goes wrong you will have a zombie

i had university but when i downloaded from the disk it wouldn't work :(
then i uninstalled it
strangley enough with a game mod that creates creatures i can still have zombies

you don't have to get promoted, you can just press ctrl+shift+c to open the cheats menu, and the type in UnlockCareerrewards. or type help and look for the unlock code and then so on. Thats how I do it.
