Cebu City Tour - 20 April 2009

Some footage of the city tour we did in Cebu on the 20th April 2009.

Starting at 9.30am when our driver picked us up and we were back at the Shangri-La round about 5pm.

We saw:

Lapu-Lapu Shrine (free entrance)

Alegre Guitar Factory (handmade guitars a tradition in Cebu.... free entrance)

Sto Nino Basillica (free entrance)

Magellan's Cross (free entrance... but watch out for the ladies selling candles which you then "offer" to the cross, 10 peso a candle, they tried to talk me into buying 10 candles... haha)

Fort San Pedro (entrance fee around 37 peso per person... I think, can't remember the exact figure but it was something like that)

Taoist Temple (free entrance)

Tops Viewing Point (highest point in Cebu... entrance fee 100 peso per person... but well worth it)

There is another place that is recommended to see "Casa Gorodo" but you can't take pictures or video inside so I skipped it)

we must have just crossed paths, we were in cebu pardo april this year too. Mainly to have our wedding there.

haha, yeah.... I wonder why he isn't celebrated more in other parts, considering he is considered the "1st Filipino Hero" I never heard of him till I started looking up info on Cebu
