I loved this freeskate, and was so dissipointed that she changed it before the olympics. This would have been a better way to win with this program.

Funny how it is so diffrent from mao's. I love them both. Mao brings out the music's flow and gentle qualities, while Shizuka uses the drama and power.

I think the drama and power suits this music better and Shizuka. Both Mao and Shizuka are great but to me there's more MAGIC in Shizuka's performances.

Not true, centhoover. Did you notice Mao's gracefulness on the ice? I sure did. Mao was artistic, even at a young age, though Shizuka was more a technical skater back then, in 1996 before I even noticed her astonishing flexibility never seen before. It was like she was hiding herself after all these years and finally blossomed! We knew that Sasha was incredibly flexible, but, not Shizuka! Also I notice that Shizuka is looking more beautiful as she matures.

After Mao switched to Tatiana her overall strength and flexibility increased drastically. Mao and Tat both agree that this past season was to challenge Mao and "push the limits." Now they know her weaknesses, how much she can do, and will use that in preparation for the upcoming Olympic season.
