Well, it's not that Peter Duffie needs a presentation, he's one of the most creative magician in the actual scene.
I loved this trick since the first time I saw it performed here on Youtube. It's explained in Jerry Sadowitz & Peter Duffie's "Card Zones".
The only drawback for this effect is that it needs gaffed cards. A lot of.
I've personally made the cards you saw in the video, and they're in part responsible for the stiffy handling: they're my first attempt in doing some cards, and they don't actually feel like proper cards, so it's a bit difficult at times.
I hope you'll enjoy the efforts like I enjoyed learning this wonderful piece of creative art.
Cheers.

  • It appears I also have a bad stutter....or a poor understanding of the new Youtube commenting system. Sorry about that!

  • @aclose

No problem, man (I struggle with it too).

If you wish I can simply delete one of the two comments.

Let me know which one you want to keep. ^__^

Oh, and good luck with your recording, I'll look forward to see you in action!

  • Simple yet, elegant. I am impressed.

  • @c64c64c64 Jerry Sadowitz is not only a brilliant comedian but perhaps one of the greatest sleight of hand artists to live. That is no understatement when you see his huge body of work in the field of card magic. Unfortunately his work is not easy to get hold off (not without his permission anyways)! He has contributed many effects to various publications, even if you are not a fan of his comedy its definitly worth watching him live to be in with a chance to see him perform a card effect

  • Slight of hand. I myself can do some card tricks but I am not very good. I am more of the kind of guy that likes to watch them and find others who are worse and ask them questions. I wait for the people who say "a true magician never reveals his secrets." to me. When that day comes I reveal his secret. But I tell only him. I do know the code. Never tell the public. Sometimes other magicians. But none the less great trick

  • Nicely done, very nice little trick

  • @Wis76 The gaffs are made (i'm using red, blue, green and yellow bikes, with an assortment deck I had kicking about for the other bits needed), the trick is learned, and now all I have to do is get off my lazy arse and film the thing!
