The legendary Oqbagabr, tegadalay

The legendary Oqbagabr was a singer, Composer, Poet and brave tegadalay, who sacrificed his life for his people and country. His songs are Philosophical and seamlessly constructed and eloquently written. His last tape, which has over 14 songs touches many topics, history, the suffering of the Eritrean people, the struggle, the beauty of Eritrea, vision of a developed Eritrea and many more. Oqbagabr's lyrics dig deep into the period of struggle by describing the unfair role of the global powerful players in Eritrea's affair and colorful lyrics of hope. He also had a few things to say about some Eritreans who sacrificed the national interest for other narrow interests.

Oqbagabr martyred, but he left many more behind. Not do only tegadleti like tefeno describe Oqbagabr as their teacher, but also the new generation's great singers such as Wedi Tkabo who take inspiration and style from him
