could not spell hone so i said stone either way u get the point

i would just say honing. no need to use a stone. i wouldnt expect chips or folds out of D2 steel that easily. jsut gotta hone the fibers straight again.
any use will dull any blade about one stroke each side on a sharpening block would put it back to before he did that.
Cool. I wondered how well this knife would baton.

I think the blade was still sharp after this. Those knives are made from quality heat threated D2 or 1095 carbon steel.
