The Music: Reaching to our roots in stone age - the music of the Papuas has survived. Its contents are matter of hunting, pig cult, the belief in spirits and ritual war. I like the last line, puts it into perspective. I was in West Papua a little over a year ago. Amazing place. I felt inspired, and now Im back home in Vancouver enrolled in a full time documentary program. Did you guys get any funding for your film? Or did you just go out and shoot it? I have some very cool footage of a cremation in Wamena that I will edit into my own little film when i have the time. You can see what I did so far on youtube. My video skills back there where lacking!
