I present to you: Phoenix, a male mini pinscher and Sayu, the female westie.

My two dogs are both 9 months in this video. I've just started to teach them to roll over. That's why you still see the treat in my hand and I still need it to make them roll over appropriately.

Although one is doing great and the other one, well... there's attitude and laziness! lol

From what I've read, Westies are breeds that are not very obedient. Most of them won't win an agility competition! As opposed to the minpin, perhaps! This one would do anything for a treat!

Heck he rolls over even before I tell him to!

Enjoy and feel free to comment!

  • You can obviously see who's smarter,right?

  • @CozmoLeo LoL The Westie does NOT want to "work" for her treats!!! At least, the minpin knows the deal: do tricks, get treats! But the westie... when and IF she feels like it!

  • Question:

I have a pincher and he is 4 years old and he dosent do shit i teach him like give him treats but he has attitude what should i do?

  • @iSweetMV LoL you seem to have a stubborn one! Does he listen to you at all?

I sort of regret treating him with treats because now, as soon as he sees the treat, he rolls over without me saying anything! That's not good either. They're supposed to wait for the command. A little too smart for me, I say!

As for your pinscher, I'm by no means an expert but it sounds like he's the boss of you! Switch that around, give him a lot of love and praise when he does something you want and like.

  • Hopefully he'll become more docile. See previous response.
