The Desi Arnaz story. Mr. Arnaz gave me my start in the picture business. In over 40 years, I don't think he ever remembered my name, Desi always just called me amigo.

Yes I have that in the DVD collection and I am hoping to be able to upload the apology that Desi did for her on stage. I remember seeing her say that she was petrified to face the audience and that Desi was also afraid but at the end he was THE MAN :) He stood up frightened in front of the audience to save Lucy. I get mad at those who say that Desi came to Lucy's life to destroy it. But you can not help but see that here, he was a gentleman and a warrior for her, as in many other occasions!

i didn't care for the bottles and needles circling around desi's head....what was that about?
everything else was good...but should of left that part out.

For someone who "gave me my start" and "called me 'amigo' for over forty years", you certainly did not repay Desi Arnaz's friendship with this so called "story"- and shame on you for calling it that. You've got hypodermic needles, Rx & liquor bottles chasing each other around Mr. Arnaz's head while "Babalu" (and that's the correct spelling) plays in the background (?). Thanks for the effort, but this is just dreadful- you'd just better hope that Lucie Arnaz Luckinbill never comes across this!

lets just say that i'm really closing in on tripple digits. i knew them both, as well as the oppenheimers. in those days i wrote on bob carroll's crew. i workd on our miss brooks & the real mc's. fun years.
