@rodriroosevelt Well most people who jumped did so because the fire was probably a few feet or so from reaching them. But I don't think the fire was that close to him yet because he was still talking to the operator and he was asking when the fire fighters were gonna get to him. So he still thought he might of had a chance to survive and he didn't know the building was gonna collapse at that time and at the point even if he wanted to jump it was probably to late. So sad RIP to all 9/11 victims

As tragic as this is, the real american tradegy is that we cannot feel the same intense pain and emotion of equally sensless death and violence around the world. Do we only grieve as much as we do because these were americans? its a shame we dont grieve as intensely for all the dead innocents, especially ones fallen by our hand. If we did, would we be so complacent when we hear the body counts in other lands, or even of our own people fighting in those distant lands?
