@DividedSeedrox Every man is entitled to dislike or choose as he feels led. I like this song, you do too, but not everyone has to. God Bless Keith Green, and God Bless you and I, and them.

Sing it onto the Lord- let all who have breath sing onto the Lord! Marked by scripture, led by the Holy Spirit, washed in the blood of Christ, seeking the face of God, brother Keith and his beloved wife sought to please the Lamb in all they did. We need to do this too. How else will people see the wonders and Majesty of God? Amen!

This was on his album Songs for (or from?) the Shepherd which I grew up listening to. Even now at the age of 25 I still love this music
One person disliked this song. So ridiculous... Keith Green is by far one of the most talented singer/songwriters to have ever lived. Not to mention his zeal for Christ was outstanding. What an example of Jesus this man is. What a beautiful child of the King of kings. I love you brother Keith. See you in Heaven my friend, I cannot wait to meet you!

Maranatha is made of two Aramaic/Syrian words, maran'atah, meaning, "our Lord comes," or (treating the -a(h) ending as if for speed) "Lord, come quickly". This phrase is how some early Christians greeted each other. The use comes from Revelation 22:20, the very end of the book, where it is used as a plea or prayer. This hope is the same one as found using different words in the Lord's prayer, "Your Kingdom come". Blessings to Patternpop and All!
