@ThunderSunX pretty easy to answer. EA dont want you to play BF3 for a long time, so they wont allow anyone to make mods. That means no new free content but a new Battlefield next year you can buy and most of the idiots are going to buy it. Thats the reason new game dont allow mods.

@The7guys (a next BF next year was just a figure of speech). He didn't meant next year, maybe the next 2 years or so. What he mean is that new big games like BF3 don't want to allow modding because it creates free content. Big publisher like EA Games wants everybody to play their next game (made by DICE) so they will to buy it.

Right now, they're fixing all the problems with BF3, and don't have time, nor the resources, to make another BF in less than eight months.
