People who don't wear any gear while riding are just plain stupid, it's crazy on the roads.
You can be the best rider in the world, all it takes is some stupid idiot on their cell phone in the car beside you to ruin your day.

@mobydick8tylerdurden The most important thing about a helmet is that it is full face and dot/snell approved. Price doesn't really matter that much. Price usually takes into acount the look and feel of a helmet, not necessarily safety.

@steelhorseclub yup! did pretty badly on the first day of riding cuz I was sleepy and dead terrified. I got most of my gear so far. What do you think? The more expensive the helmet it is, the better? I've heard from a few friends who ride that the price is more for comfort.
