the new street fighter trailer right hear desk rules

what the hell are you guys talking about......?(Never owned a Street Fighter game)

If ever I played desk, I would put my joystick down and watch the combo vid that was to ensue, record it...and steal every frame trap, link and idea that happened. I'd then distill it into its base essence and market it as an elixir for performing 1 frame links.
"Dropping combos? Can't 'perform' at the 'highest' level? When the time is right, still can't 'punish' as 'hard' as possible...try "P'Link Drink-For That Extra 'Frame' Enhancement!"
50/50 split of course.

@holmborn A second has 1000ms....
1f = 16,66ms, hence 8f = 133,33ms ~ 0,133s. An 8f link in SF4 is something like j.HK > c.LP.
Makoto st.LP > U1 is by the way a "0f link" (isn't normally possible) and only works if st.LP hits on the 2nd active frame, hence making it a 1f link.

@ov3rheadtwat Duuuuuuuude.

@Snoooootch Okay; I'm assuming that's similar to Chun's jab > Ultra from Vanilla, meaning I'll never be able to do it. ;_; Thanks for the info! :3

@SFCatgirlFanatic That second cr. lp hit dhalsim in a way that makoto's st. ligh punch hit him one frame late cause of the push back. This gives makoto the ability to combo into U1 by one frame. He U1 is very fast and can be comboed from even a meaty cr. light kick. :)

@mikiarca online, an 8 frame link is pretty strict. i agree, in training mode its pretty easy to do, but think SFCatgirlFanatic is talking about online.
-
@holmborn Oh, believe me...I know better than that. I'm talking about OFFline. I guess it's because I only do 1 crouching jab > standing jab, but god damn it's ridiculous. Also, I think it's gotta be a smaller window than 8 frames, yo. Maybe 1 or 2.

lol at 8 frames link being strict
The funny thing is desk doesn't even have a controller plugged in he just uses his telekinesis.
