@fritzstudio - If you're using step interpolation (after 4:30), you don't need to set a key on frame 20 and another on frame 21. Simply set the key on 21, and all the frames before it will use the value from the previous key. That's kind of the point of using step mode. ;)
BTW, you probably meant the intervals to be 0-19, 20-39, etc. (so step keys at 0, 20, 40 and 60), assuming your animation starts at 0 and not 1 (we can't see because the bottom of Max's window isn't visible on the video).

hey, would you be able to use the cat animations for something old like Unreal Tournament 2004, to use in the editor(unreal ed3 i think) tht comes with it as i no we can use the static meshes from 3dsmax 2011 and import them into it but i would not know of the animations do as well, as i may need 2 do it 4 my college work where we use unreal to test the level were making.

@baburuto I dont quite follow, are you asking if you can animate on a CAT rig, then put that animation on to the UT2004 main character?

Fantastic series of Tutorials for the 3DS Max portion of this process. Anxiously awaiting the UDK aspect.
Seriously, after watching these it's almost painful watching less polished tutorials . You cover the material well enough that beginners can grasp it, without insulting the intelligence of more experienced users. Well done all around. I am officially done stroking your ego.
