I just wanted to see if I could remember this great folk song. This video was really just an excuse to use the swelled banks of the Ohio River as a backdrop. Kentucky is on the other side. I looked a bit distracted because I sneaked into someone's back yard to record this! :)

Oh, what the ukulele folk won't

do to spread the joy of uke!

  • Heh. It was a house with a "For Sale" sign. Although I'm not sure that they were moved out yet...

  • Ahhh, lovely.

  • Beautiful tune, i searched this to see if anyone play on the UKe. Nice playing and nice view, where to find the tab?

  • That is truly awesome

  • Lovely stuff.

I've got the River Severn near me. Perhaps I ought to visit with me uke!

  • Very very sweet version. I'm digging that cool cigar box uke, too. It has a great tone. Ha! I especially like your guerrilla video tactics! It would have been hilarious if a crazy neighbor lady ran you off with a broom at the end or something!

  • Impressive ukulele playing--impressive river, too!
