Hey I dont mean to sound dumb or anything, I just know almost nothing about these engines. 2 or 4 cycle? Pretty fast for 4 cycle. Very cool video though

4 cycle, and yes VERY fast, about 333 revolutions per second 0.0, and I think are 2.4L v8's now.

How do you hear traction control from just an engine hooked up to a dyno? Need wheels and tire slippage to hear TC kick in my friend!

Quite easily. TC in this case works by misfiring one or more cylinders. That's the low grinding sound one can hear.

They're hot enough to glow red. That's normal for race engines.
