Fight Like A Girl Bomshel

Sorry the sound isn't that great...we were right next to the speakers.....I had been listening to this song for about a week or more non-stop before seeing these girls live at LAC. When Kristy shared the story behind the song it just about brought me to tears. Kristy originally wrote this song for a friend of her's who found a lump in her breast and when she went into the doctor, she found out she was pregnant as well. The doctors told her it was very unlikely for her to be able to carry the baby to full term but she decided to fight it anyways. She had her beautiful baby girl and went in for Chemo every two weeks. She said that Chemo was not something that has happened to her but something that has happened for her. Unfortunately, she died last August. I never met her yet just by Kristy sharing that story she's touched my life. I love this song and wish every girl would take it up and fight like a girl no matter what they face.
