A short video showing how they make bánh khọt at many restaurants around Vung Tau. They start with a mix of rice flour batter, then place it on a hot pan that is covered with small indentations, sort of like for poached eggs. Then they place a small shrimp, and scallions on top of the "pancake". They cover that with a small lid, and wait for a couple minutes. After the bánh khọt is cooked, they place about 8-10 on a plate, and serve with chilli sauce, nuoc mam (fish sauce) and vegetables. It's very delicious.
